Overview of WebDFF

WebDFF is an online platform embedded in the DFF website. It provides the essential functionality of TEAMFF as part of the Standard edition of DFF. Using WebDFF requires no software installation. Simply prepare your simulation model, upload it to WebDFF, select a force field type and simulation engine, and WebDFF will search TEAMFF, identify suitable parameters, assign atom types and charges, and prepare input files for your selected simulation engine.

If an error occurs, you will receive an error message. You can send this message to the TEAMFF developer team for support. As with all general force fields, coverage of chemical space is never complete, and occasionally new parameters are required. TEAMFF is designed to be extensible, and developers work to update it with new parameters. Program bugs may also cause errors, which developers will fix.

WebDFF operates on an on-demand basis: you pay license fees only for what you use. The cost depends on the complexity of your simulation model—specifically, how many atom types are required.
